Brian L. Champney

Brian L. Champney,51, of Bernhards Bay, NY passed away on Friday, April 29th at the Syracuse VA Medical Center. He was born in Watertown, NY on March 14, 1971 to the late Terry L. and Sharon (LaBar) Champney. Brian was preceded in death by his daughter, Jessica Champney.

Brian was a US Navy Veteran, Licensed Practical Nurse, expert Welder, Steel Fabricator, very creative in his work, and fixer of all things. Brian’s pride and joy was the “Noodler”, which is a boat that he built all by himself. He enjoyed snorkeling, motorcycling, camping, and anything in Nature.

Brian is survived by his children, Jeremy (Sullivan) Champney, Jerran Champney, Josiah Champney , and Jezliah Champney; his mom, Sharon Champney; siblings, Patsy (Ron) Reid and Terri Ransom; grandchildren, Natalie and Malcolm Champney; several nieces, and nephews; and last but not least, the love of his life, Amy Starr Zuch.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, May 6, 2022 from 2- 4 PM at Watson Funeral Home, Central Square. Military Honors will be rendered at 4 PM.
