Scott Corsette Obituary

Scott David Corsette, age 53, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 11, 2018.

He was born on January 25, 1965 in Syracuse, the son of Norman and Frances Corsette.

Scott served in the Army from 1983 to 1985 and was Honorably Discharged at the rank of Corporal from the 110th Military Police Company.

He went on to retire as Chief of Police after 22 years of service to the VA Hospital due to medical complications.

Scott lived his later life to the fullest while enduring his many health related problems but always fought to get better to enjoy precious time with his daughter and his beloved family members.

He is survived and will be sadly missed by his daughter, who was his world, Sieara Corsette, his mother and step father, Frances and Earl Coffin. His siblings, Stephen (Kimberly) Corsette, Daniel (Jackie) Corsette, Kim (Kelly) Perkins & Lori (Mike) Hughes and step siblings, Jerry Coffin, Roxane (Chris) Winner and Chad (Crystal) Coffin, along with many precious nieces and nephews he absolutely adored and several great nieces and nephews. He also had many aunts, uncles and cousins that meant the world to him as well. He was predeceased by his loving father, Norman Corsette, his paternal  grandparents, Fred and Leona Cottet Corsette and his maternal grandparents, Arthur and Evelyn (Bubbles) Peck Auringer and we're sure they are all having a grand reunion in heaven.

Scott was a devoted father and loved life. He loved hunting, old cars, camping, going to the casino and  working in his yard. No matter what health crisis he was facing he'd take it in stride and do his best to get through it with dignity. He just got tired of the constant struggle and made his decision to leave this world on his own terms.

Family, friends and others whose lives Scott has touched are invited to Watson Funeral Home in Central Square from 3-7 p.m. on Friday, December 14th for his calling hours.
