David and Connie,
Our deepest condolences for the loss of your Dad. I have such fond memories of the hugs and smiles he gave me every time he would see me either at college or later at conference at Chambers. I spent many evenings with Clair and Olive while attending Houghton and went for 2 semesters with him to the church in Machias on Sundays. Mike would often speak to Olive in the college offices as well, Jim also sends his thoughts and prayers for you. He is now in Florida and wishes to let you know he would have really liked to see you. He spoke of the times Clair would be at our home, with mother feeding him the corn bread he loved, when on a pastoral visit.
I hope his memories will be ones of the good times and special love he had to give. God Bless.

Such great memories of our Uncle Clair. He called every so often to check in to see
how Gene and I were doing and about our family. We visited him at his home on the river there in Central Square a couple of times during the past few years. Those red rosy cheeks and his wonderful smile will always be fondly remembered.
Sending condolences to cousins David & Family and Connie & granddaughter.
