Shirley J. Shestak, 86, of Parish, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2020. She was born on October 17, 1933 in Syracuse, NY to the late Daniel P. and the late Ethel M. (Green) Meehan. Shirley was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Meehan.

Shirley was a graduate of J.C. Penney High School in Hamilton, Missouri. She was a waitress and worked at the Castaways in Brewerton, NY for 15 years, Casadigallo, also in Brewerton for 8 years, and Beck’s Hotel in Mexico, NY for 6 years until she retired. Shirley owned and operated Shady Lane Stables where she boarded horses for many years. She was an active member of the Central Square Community Church.

Shirley is survived by her companion, Wayne Long; cousin, Gerry Ingerson; sister-in-law, Wanda Meehan; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Due to current circumstances, calling hours will be livestreamed on Monday, April 13, 2020 from 10 am – 1 pm. Funeral Service will also be livestreamed at 1 pm.
