Robert James Greene Sr."Buck," 84 of Bernhards Bay passed away October 5, 2021.
Buck was one of eleven children born to John and Marguerite Greene.
Buck married Janet Myers on August 22,1959. They enjoyed 51 years of marriage and raised six children: Susan Kielb, Sharon (Robert) Doran, Robert (Kelly), Catherine Goulet, Kevin and Jason. Buck had 17 Grandchildren and 18 Great Grandchildren.
Buck is survived by four siblings:Edward (Carolyn), Patricia Bourgeois, Carole Hogan,and Phyllis Schad. Also many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife Janet, sisters Peg Murray, Eileen Hawkes, Casandra Arnold and brothers John, William a d Terrance.
Buck excelled at carpentry and construction. He built his own house and a few others.
He loved the outdoors-was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He was hard-working and a loving dedicated husband and father.
Ser ices will be Wednesday, October 13 at Watson funeral home in Central Square. Calling hours are 10-12 with prayer services at 12. Burial will follow at West Amboy Cemetery.
