Keith R. Ladd, Sr

Keith R. Ladd, Sr, 71, of Tampa, Florida passed away on November 11, 2022 after a short battle with cancer. He grew up in Central Square and attended P.V. Moore High School in Central Square. Keith was a Registered Radiology Technician since his Navy years until retiring in 2015 and was integral to the development of CAT Scan and MRI Technology in Tampa Bay since 1976. After retiring, he loved working at Publix to stay busy. He loved sports, especially the Bucs, Ray’s and the Lightning. He enjoyed traveling, going to over 10 countries, puns of any kind, and riding roller coasters with his mother. His preference was to keep his diagnosis and the progress of his battle private.

Keith is survived by his best friend, love, and husband, Gary Houghtalin; his son, Keith R. Ladd, Jr and daughter-in-law, Brantley; 6 grandkids, Miranda, Lilly, Gracon, Camden, Khloe, and Austin; his brother, Ernest A. (Jean) Ladd III; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

At Keith’s request, there will be no services and any donations should be made to St. Francis Society of Tampa Bay or any non-kill animal shelter. He would love everyone to enjoy life, have a beer, and relax.
