Henry Webber Obituary

Following an extended illness, Henry Chester Webber, of Dutcherville Road, Bernhards Bay, NY (Town of Constantia), passed away peacefully on Saturday evening, July 10, 2021 in the comfort of his home.  At the time of his passing, he was surrounded by his loved ones. 

Henry was born on April 7, 1953 in Shell Lake, WI, son of the late William and Bertha Webber and Wisconsin schools.  He proudly joined the United States Navy, enlisting in 1970 and served for six years, receiving an honorable discharge in 1976 from the Naval Reserve.  He was the recipient of the National Defense Service Medal.  In 1977, he was united in marriage with Judith Ann (Dutcher) in Constantia by the Justice of the Peace.  His last employment was with Reliable Auto, Constantia, where he was a mechanic. 

HIs favorite hobbies were hunting and fishing and working on cars.  Henry loved the outdoors and most of all, being with his loved ones.  He was of the Catholic faith.  

Survivors include his wife, Judith; his children, Billie Jo Butera and husband Dominic of Cleveland, NY, Bobbie Jo Trumble and husband Jay of Constantia, Bambi Jo Dery and husband Harry, III of Constantia and Jamie Joe O'Hare of CA; a sister, Jean Weizalt of Tomah, WI; brother, William Webber of Rockford, MN; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Whitegull.

Relatives and friends are invited to a celebration of Henry's life commencing at 5 pm on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at Watson Funeral Home, Central Square, NY with Father Paul Mathis, officiating.  Military honors will be offered by the US Navy.  Burial will take place at the convenience of the family.  Visitation will be held also on Thursday from 3-5 pm, at the funeral home prior to the service.  The family would like to offer their gratitude to the caring staff of Hospice of Central New York for their kindness and compassion along with VA Hospital in Syracuse for their professionalism.
