Barbara A. (Owen) Baxter

Barbara A. Baxter, 82, formerly of Central Square, passed away on Tuesday following a long illness.
Daughter of the late Robert and Isabel Owen, she retired as a clerk from the NYS Insurance Fund.  She also was a member of the Central Square American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.  Besides her parents, she was also pre-deceased by her husband Leonard E. Baxter, her son John R. Baxter, and her brother and sister in-law, Robert and Genie Owen.
Surviving are her children, James (Denise) Baxter, Lynn (Jerry) Baxter-Elia, Leonard Baxter and Mark (Nancy) Baxter; her sister Joan (Wayne) Davison; 8 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are 4-7pm Friday at Watson Funeral Home, Central Square with 7pm services following.  Burial is in Pleasant Lawn Cemetery, Parish, NY.
