Marianne Boyle Calvarese

Marianne Boyle Calvarese, 85, of Central Square, New York, formerly of Manlius, New York, passed away January 13, 2024, surrounded by family after a brief courageous battle with cancer. She was born December 27,1938 to the late Edward and Mary Boyle. Marianne was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Thomas. Infant son Thomas and grandson Benjamin Swistak. brothers John Boyle, Mark Boyle and sister-in-law Barbara Boyle.

Marianne loved being surrounded by family. She was an avid gardener, carpenter, bird watcher, outdoor lover, Vice President of the North Shore Food Pantry, Founder of Big Ben’s Book Box and communicant of Divine Mercy Parish.

Left to cherish her memory are children, Wendy Daniels, Melissa (Daniel) Swistak, Amy Dunn, Mollie (Robert) LaPine, Edward (Janet) Calvarese and Chris (Shannon) Calvarese: grandchildren, Zachary, MaryCaitlin, Thomas, Lindsey, Riley, Kyle, Cole, Maggie, Emily, Ryan, Kailey, Jerrett, and Anthony: great-grandchildren, Makennah, Jacob, Zoe, Henry, Madilyn, Charli, Scarlett, Violet and Roger: brother, Michael Boyle: sister-in-law April Boyle: many nieces, nephews and close friends.

Calling hours will be from 4-7pm on Wednesday at Watson Funeral Home, 631 South Main Street, Central Square, New York. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30am on Thursday, at Divine Mercy Parish at 592 South Main Street, Central Square, New York.
